What do cleaning and chiropractic have in common?
Well there is such a thing as spinal hygiene, healthy living, for your spine. Removing toxins is something cleaning and Chiropractic has in common. Let me explain…
Chiropractic is an exciting means of turning on the inherent healing mechanisms that only comes from within the body. Above, down, inside and out.
Chiropractors locate interference and endeavor to restore the proper function and mobility to the spine.
Chiropractic helps: relieve stress of the structure, balance nerve impulses, improve body function and boost “dis-ease” resistance. Chiropractors specialize in treating vertebral subluxation. In simplest terms, a subluxation is when one or more of the bones of
your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
How does this affect you? Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body. If you interfere with the signals traveling over nerves, parts of your body will not get the proper nerve messages and will not be able to function at 100% of their innate abilities. In other words, some part of your body will not be working properly.
It is the responsibility of the Doctor of Chiropractic to locate subluxations, and reduce or correct them. This is done through a series of chiropractic adjustments specifically designed to correct the vertebral subluxations in your spine. Chiropractors are the only professionals who undergo years of training to be the experts at correcting subluxations.
When a Chiropractor corrects the vertebral subluxation they restore nerve function flow to allow the body to heal itself. One of the most common symptons of vertebral subluxation is allegeries.
David Felten MD, PhD is a professor of neurobiology and anatomy at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and discovered nerve fibers going into virtually every organ of the immune system and forming direct contacts with the immune cells. He found, much to his surprise, that if you took the nerves away from the spleen or the lymph nodes, you virtually stopped the immune responses in their tracks. The bottom line is that if the immune system is not working then the toxins and the allergies will take over. Chiropractic restores the nerve system to wherever those nerves go, including the organs of the immune system.
So I am coming clean with this important information, especially if you suffer from allergies.
