Teresa's Family Cleaning is the proud supporter of a wide variety of Long Island charities and not-for-profit organizations. Because for us, cleaning has always been about more than just clean homes.
After Teresa lost her own sister, Virginia, to cancer, she committed her heart and her business to blessing women who are overwhelmed with the pain and stress of cancer treatment.
A significant number of Teresa's Family Cleaning jobs are done free of charge to help these women in need. Our company is New York's founding chapter of Cleaning for a Reason, a nationwide nonprofit organization providing cleaning services for free to women undergoing cancer treatment.
Because of the overwhelming need for these cleaning services for anyone recently diagnosed with a critical illness, Teresa Ward herself formed The Cleaning Angels USA to meet those needs, and to be able to continue to give back to anyone suffering on Long Island.
We also reach out to help families in need through Long Island charities, not-for-profit organizations, and worthy causes in the communities we serve throughout Nassau County, Suffolk County, and the Hamptons.

We were fortunate to have the services of Teresa's Family Cleaning. My wife Sharon went through extensive treatments for breast cancer that left her wiped out and in need of sleep for about 18 hours a day. I work two jobs to pay the bills and don't have time for regular housekeeping. A friend suggested Cleaning for a Reason, and we felt it was worth a try. Teresa's Family Cleaning crew came over and tackled the tough cleaning jobs around the house. Sharon and I were thoroughly satisfied with the job they did. God bless these people who help when people like us need it the most.Robert K.Cleaning for a Reason Recipient, Long Island
