But we wouldn’t know it from the weather! And I heard there were death threats for the ground hog who predicted an early Spring. It sure hasn’t come early this year.
I love springtime.
It’s like a new beginning all the plants and trees come back alive after the long cold winter. The birds start chirping again and the days get longer. It’s like you feel rejuvenated and alive for the first time in months.
Springtime brings out the best in some of us.
It seems as though this is the time of year some people want to begin to start moving about more. It makes you want to do things again, spring clean. It makes you want to be outside more, to breathe fresh air. It makes some people even feel better inside, instead of being depressed and blue it puts them in a good mood.
Feeling good naturally, puts one in a good mood too. Chiropractic helps with that. You see when we look at the spinal column from the side, we actually want to see two very important curves in the shape of the letter “C” in both your cervical (neck) and lumbar (low back) regions. These curves are similar to springs in that the purpose is to absorb shock. Think of your head as a bowling ball sitting on your neck. If your spine is curved as it is designed to it will absorb the weight of your head. But if your neck is straightened or worse yet, reversed, that distributes the forces unevenly and puts a tremendous stress on your joints.
